The Best Copycat Recipe for Cheesecake Factory’s Brown Bread

Can we stop and talk about how incredibly amazing Cheesecake Factory’s brown bread is?

And it’s so addictive!

As soon as it hits the table, you can’t stop yourself from immediately reaching for a slice and taking a bite of this soft, warm piece of heaven.

And eventually you find yourself stuffing the rest of the loaf into your mouth because it’s THAT GOOD!

Whenever I go to Cheesecake Factory with my friends or family, we know each of us is dying to reach for the last piece. But we’re too polite to say it and take the bread.

They can’t seem to bring another loaf out fast enough. So we just all sit there staring at it while it gets cold.

Why do they even bother giving you the sourdough bread with it anyway?

Please bring out 2 loaves of brown bread instead and save yourself a trip cuz you know pretty much everyone asks for more.

An Unexpected Find

A few months ago, I was at my local supermarket stocking up on my weekly groceries when something caught my eye.

I saw what I thought was some sort of banana bread but when I did a double take, it was the brown bread!

My wish came true!

I knew I couldn’t leave the store without at least bringing a loaf (or two) back home.

Warmed in the oven, it was as magical as the ones at the restaurant.

But in the back of my mind, I couldn’t justify spending almost $5 for each loaf every time. So I had to find another way to get my fix.

Freshly Baked Brown Bread at Home

I scoured the internet for copycat recipes but one really stuck out to me. It looked like it could be a real match to the actual bread.

What drew me to Katrina’s recipe was the ingredients she uses, especially the espresso.

For those of you who don’t know, I am a coffee fanatic. So anything with even the tiniest amount will catch my eye.

I really love how she helps make you feel at ease and less intimidated about making bread, especially if it’s your first time trying to bake.

She even includes a 3-step process to help build up your bread-making confidence.

She walks you through the entire recipe, step-by-step, and helps you overcome any doubt in your baking abilities.

It’s almost like she’s right there with you in the kitchen.
